I finally was able to attend Sunday mass after 2 weeks. Happy first day of May, everyone! May this month be filled with more spontaneous memories for it would be the last month of summer vacation for most.. Back to school soon so make the most out of your last few weeks!

I went shopping yesterday @ Zara, Glorietta and @ F21, SM Makati (yes, the new one. yipee!) First time shopping there, actually. F21 was pretty big. I'm not really sure how big compared to the one in Megamall but it was massive.

Hongkong family trip - day 4 (last!)

April 8, 2011
After having breakfast at the morning buffet: we left my brother to rest (still dealing with his fever) and headed to the nearest mall for 'pasalubong'. It was a tiring walk but i guess it was good exercise and head start for lunch after.

We ate at a Muslim noodles restaurant. Their noodles were amazing but their service was shitty.. I understand that the people there were not so well with English but shouldn't they at least know what a glass of water meant! I asked for 'water' and the waitress just smiled and asked another waitress for help and she didn't know what WATER meant either. Ugh.. But the noodles were good.. I am such a sucker for noodles. (haha!)

 My plate!

After shopping and lunch we walked back to the hotel to get ready for our ride to the airport and we had to wait for about an hour and a half at the lobby with other Filipino families cause our bus took so long. We got really bored from waiting, as you can see. :)

Once we got into the bus: i got hungry again. I blame mom: she made me hold the leftovers from the restaurant and i just had to eat it.. I know what the sign said and what the bus driver was saying a million times but i couldn't take it.. i mean, i was holding it! How could i resist..

After the bus ride; airport for hours and back to Manila! Ahh, i missed the smell of our pollution and aura of heat here. There's really no place like home! :)

Tank top: Giordano
Sweater: Rustans
Shorts: (Greenhills)
Tights: Gap

Thanks for the picture, mom!

Hongkong family trip - day 3

April 7,2011

After having breakfast at the breakfast buffet, again; we took a train to a provincial area in China called Shenzen. It was a long train ride to get there. Check out my little brother and his PSP early in the morning..

What i wore today..

 Top: Forever 21
Pants: Next
Socks: ZOCKS
Shoes: Doc Martens

We got there and felt the heat like back here in Manila and started off with the tour.  Most places we went didn't allow picture taking so i had to abide.. We went to a bunch of jewelery factories from Jade to Gold and learned alot of interesting facts from the tour  guides. :)

We had a late lunch at a Chinese (but of course) restaurant with the rest of the Filipino tourists in our group. Thank God there was rice!!

We stopped by Windows of the world for a view and a few pictures. There we were given the view of Paris, Egypt, New York and i bet there were alot more inside. We didn't stay for long nor did we go in for some reason.

We went around a nearby mall and had a snack. Egg tarts were really good! Only that time did my MILK TEA ADDICTION start. I thought it would be a cold drink since it was in that kind of container with a straw, then i took a big sip and burnt my tongue! but i didn't care.. it tasted delicious! I thus marked my new obsession.

I bought two really nice things that day..
1.) Canon shaped USB
It looked just like my camera! I was in need of a new USB. Thanks for buying it for me, mom!

and 2.) A Mikey Mouse backpack

We didn't visit Disney Land since we already did during our first visit last 2008 which sorta bummed me out. This bag i bought at a Disney boutique made me feel better, though.. seeing the 3 circles (Mikey) Thanks to dad for picking it out and buying for me.New school bag; yey!

Hongkong family trip - day 2

April 6, 2011

Started off the day with a breakfast buffet.

Mhhh, tasty food.. felt something was missing, though.. then it hit me; I'm Filipino! There's supposed to be rice here.. Sadly there wasn't; bared with the bread, instead.
(i'm rhyming a lot! Lol!)

My outfit today:
Long Top: Forever 21
Cardigan: Mango
Tights: Nike
Shorts: (Greenhills!)
Shoes: Doc Martens
Bag: Al & Co.

After breakfast; we started with the city tour and headed off to Stars Avenue for an astounding view of the city. It was extremely windy considering it was by the bay.. a few pictures and we went off.

We took a cute  boat ride around and got to check out the Floating Restaurant from the outside.

 There were yachts everywhere!
Just chillin, checkin out my Docs. (haha..?)

We ditched the City Tour and headed off to Ocean Park!
A big-ass park that'll take you half a whole day to probably get around the whole thing! Oh and the rides were great!

We ate at a really cute cafe in the park called Panda Cafe. There were pandas everywhere.. I thought it was an Ocean Park? I ordered chicken and pork with rice cause i'm Filipino and a really cute Soy milk juice box. :)
That's me totally lost. (haha!) Thanks to dad and uncle Tony for the pictures..
We had to ride a cable car to get to the other side of the park. It was that big! Mom and my little bro got pretty freaked out in there.. Mom wouldn't even let go of the hand rails. Oh, mom! I on the other hand enjoyed the ride and the amazing view. :)

We watched the Water Theater show and it was just the typical Sea-Lion-and-Dolphin-with-their-trainers-entertainment. Just like the one you can watch at Ocean Adventure in Subic!

After wards we went to the Aquarium. Not so exciting features there. I actually thought the Manila Ocean Park was much better. I was never really a big fan of aquariums, though..

Meet An An! She's the snobbiest Panda ever.. We we're waiting for her to face us for about 15 minuets and we ended up getting her back turned on us. Although she was super cute chilling with her bamboo treats :)

We stayed till the park closed and there was a really pretty fountain and lights show for the closing.

At the ending of a really long and tiring day with soar feet especially from my Docs; we had taked out fast food for dinner and ate it back at the hotel, again. Oh, i do love Chinese noodles!

Hongkong family trip - day 1

April 5, 2011

At the airport and in the plane: Bread. It's all i usually eat when traveling and since it's morning; juice :)

When we got to the massive airport of HK: my brother had to be checked up since he had a slight fever and the temperature check thing got him. He was pretty much sick the night before we left and till now back here in Manila. Poor kid suffered a bit on vacation.

We finally got to the hotel. We stayed at a small hotel called Dorsett for 2 days and switched to a different one at Shenzhen after. Here's me and the little man goofing around. We love mirrors! Check out my airport clothes? Basically just a shirt, hoodie, jeans and easy slip-out footwear: doll shoes.

Ahh, finally! A decent meal! We ate at a small cafe near the hotel. I got chicken fillet, a big bowl of rice and a nice, tall glass of Pearl Taro! First meal went great!

After eating, we went a little around this small mall near the hotel, as well and spotted something we don't really see back here in Manila; an Umbrella vending machine! Pretty cool, huh!

In the evening; me, mom, dad and uncle Tony left my 2 brothers asleep back at the hotel and went a little more around town for food and ended up spending the whole time looking for my Docs! We went all around town, streets and shops asking strangers if they knew where to buy a pair and sadly; no one was much of help. Then mom saw a mall with a giant 'SPORTS SHOPS' sign and got the feeling there would probably be some in there.

Well this floor sticker was a big help! I got so excited and ran in the store..

and there it was.. a rack full of Docs! Beautiful Doctor Martens Airwair Shoes right in front of me. I went straight to the black, mid-cut pair: "SIZE 38 & 39 PLEASE!" and even got my hands on the maroon one's but they didn't have my size for it, so it was black for sure.

After getting my Docs: we headed back to the hotel and just bought fast food to eat there thinking maybe my brothers would be starving already. I didn't eat much; i already felt full after buying my Docs. :)

I started the day with these:

and ended it with these:

*Thanks to Uncle Tony for some pictures!
