Hongkong family trip - day 1

At the airport and in the plane: Bread. It's all i usually eat when traveling and since it's morning; juice :)

 When we got to the massive airport of HK: my brother had to be checked up since he had a slight fever and the temperature check thing got him. He was pretty much sick the night before we left and till now back here in Manila. Poor kid suffered a bit on vacation.

 We finally got to the hotel. We stayed at a small hotel called Dorsett for 2 days and switched to a different one at Shenzhen after. Here's me and the little man goofing around. We love mirrors! Check out my airport clothes? Basically just a shirt, hoodie, jeans and easy slip-out footwear: doll shoes.

 Ahh, finally! A decent meal! We ate at a small cafe near the hotel. I got chicken fillet, a big bowl of rice and a nice, tall glass of Pearl Taro! First meal went great!

After eating, we went a little around this small mall near the hotel, as well and spotted something we don't really see back here in Manila; an Umbrella vending machine! Pretty cool, huh!

In the evening; me, mom, dad and uncle Tony left my 2 brothers asleep back at the hotel and went a little more around town for food and ended up spending the whole time looking for my Docs! We went all around town, streets and shops asking strangers if they knew where to buy a pair and sadly; no one was much of help. Then mom saw a mall with a giant 'SPORTS SHOPS' sign and got the feeling there would probably be some in there.

 Well this floor sticker was a big help! I got so excited and ran in the store..

 and there it was.. a rack full of Docs! Beautiful Doctor Martens Airwair Shoes right in front of me. I went straight to the black, mid-cut pair: "SIZE 38 & 39 PLEASE!" and even got my hands on the maroon one's but they didn't have my size for it, so it was black for sure.

 After getting my Docs: we headed back to the hotel and just bought fast food to eat there thinking maybe my brothers would be starving already. I didn't eat much; i already felt full after buying my Docs. :)
