The best place to stay in Boracay

The chilly season is actually here and a trip to Boracay to start November sounds fantastic!

I have actually been to Bora thrice, already. We spent our first visit in Asya, although not a beach front hotel, it was still conveniently not too far away from the beach; and Boracay Regency on our second stay, which was arguably the best at that time. A place for beach and underwater adventures, buffets by the beach, happy hours and relaxation. But knowing Boracay as a great tourist spot, the beach would definitely be raided with a a great crowd. *but you want to relax!!* right? This third stay, we had the best time in comparison with our other stays. Ahhh, Shang-rila Boracay! Here is where you want to stay. Spontaneous service, serenity all around and multiple activities with out even leaving the resort. (except for great activities like helmet diving, jet skiing, island hoping, etc.)

A private boat ride to get to the area. They make you feel like a VIP already!

It was really cool that they had buggy rides for the guests. Considering a big resort with lots of places to go, time must not be wasted for traveling. Plus it is rather a fun ride. :-)

 *swag*

We were sure to hit the pool after settling in our suit!! Family time with pool games and joking around with all our non-sense.

After swimming, we headed out of the resort to the public beach to look for a small buffet place for dinner. We found a small, not-so-special buffet just to bare with for that night. I was already hungry at that time so i eating anywhere was fine with me.

Shangri-la's semi-private beach

Burying dad in the sand!!

We spent our second day of vacation at Shangri-la's semi-private beach. Being in the public beach wouldn't really give you much relaxation with a big "party", now would it? I mean, the sand is definitely softer there but feeling like you have the whole beach to yourself (kinda) makes you feel more special and relaxed. Being away from the crowd just to get your mind cooled down would be a favor to one.

Mom's feeling-Rose (from Titanic the movie) shot.

Every morning of our stay, we got a free breakfast buffet. Shangri-la's buffet will forever be my favorite. They will surely serve you the best of everything.

 high tide!

The big guy's teaching me how to work the old thing.

Third day was adventure day! The rain was a bit out of schedule but that couldn't stop us from enjoying our day. (I mean we're all getting wet anyway, right?)
Every time we go to a beach (on any occasion) Kuya has always been telling my parents that he wanted to try jet skiing. My parents usually postpone their promise, but not this time. It was all of our first time jet skiing and i say, it was definitely one rapid ride. At first i thought, it's too bad minors couldn't drive it on their own! but i finally understood when i took it for a spin with dad's supervision behind me..

We went underwater helmet diving right after and it was a great experience, as well. It wasn't as easy as it looked going 14 ft down. It took me two trips to get down with all the pressure going in my ear. It was like an airplane landing-ride but a bit more vicious to the ears. My little brother - being afraid of fish - sadly was not able to join us in the underwater world.

On our 4th day, we had to leave the resort early. It was goodbye day :(
I surely had a great 4-day vacation at Boracay this sembreak. Traveling with the family will always be the best treat. :)
