Left the house a little after lunch and headed off to mom's ol' hometown: San Ildefonso, Bulacan. It wasn't so far from home.. considering the clear road; it only took us an hour to get there.
Pit-stop at Ministop for a snack. Silly mom! Haha :)
Finally got there and the place still smelled and looked the same, to me. I haven't visited the area in exactly a year. It was fun getting around again. I used to love visiting here alot; i guess i just forgot how great it was being around there and how the environment was.
First thing's first; Lunch! We were all so hungry once we got there. The usual Filipino food the family cooked. Thumbs up on the cooking. Most familiar on the table would probably be the chicken and spaghetti, right? Everything tasted great. Mhhh, Filipino food! :) :)
Lots of bonding and catching. We even learned and played new games we introduced to eachother. It was extra fun feeling like a kid again with sit-down games.
After a few games and lots of laughs, we went to the nearby
sari-sari store (Filipino convenience store // "sari-sari" meaning "variety")-which was owned by some relatives, as well-for some
halo-halo (Filipino dessert // "halo-halo" meaning "mix" // a mixture of lots of toppings, milk, fruits and shaved ice)
Kuya Kenneth for the shot! Haha, yeah; that's me.. catching up on some texts.
We took a ride around the bukid (filed) to catch up on how pretty the place has gotten and for a few pictures. It was a short yet, fun trip. Thanks to Kuya Kenneth for driving us around! :)
My mates for the day!
Thanks to Kuya Kenneth for offering to take a picture with me in it.

yes, there is a mirror :)

The sun was going down and so was my the Charz' juice (irresponsible me forgot to charge the extra battery)
Thanks for the awesome day, guys! It was fun catching up :)
